Horseback riding school

Horseback riding school begins each Friday in month at 3 pm,
continues on Saturday and Sunday from 3 pm till 6 pm (January,
February, March, November and December from 2 pm till 5 pm).

Lessons and practice last one month (4 weeks, 36 hours – cca. 20 hours of riding).
Everyone can apply for this school, regardless sex and age. However, we try to get together
students of approximately same age in the same group.

In school student will learn basic concepts on horses, cleaning and feeding them, stable,
equipment and other relevant things necessary for riding.

Student has to own adequate equipment which will be presented to him after first lessons; the
same one is recommended during whole education and also later in sport practice.

In the end of the school each student will be able to work with horses by himself, he would
say that there were no unknown terms to him related to this subject. He will be able to go
alone and safe in the nature outside the menage and feel the beautiness in relationship with
this noble animal. Finally each student will be able to take horseback riding exam in front of
the special comission (he has to pay extra for exam).

Lessons will not be held or they will be rescheduled in case of lack of candidates or bad
weather.

Horseback riding school – quick coure

For this course you should make a special arrangement with instructor to define day and exact
time of the beggining and the end of it.

A) ''quick'' or advanced course – 5 lessons (2 theory lessons, 3 riding lessons)
B) extra practical course with riding on your own – 8 lessons

Each extra lesson, up to maximum 10 lessons
We can't guarantee competence of this course participants for giving horseback riding exam.

Horseback riding week in Istria

You have lot of possibilities like riding, having fun, swimming,
various tours and of course good meal with us, but this time we chose
and organized for you 7-day arrangment of active vacation. It makes
the synthesis of everything beautiful what we, Istria and summer can give to you. For
realization of this programme it has to be applied minimum 4, maximum 7 persons, in period
from 1th of June till the end of June, and 1th of September till the end of September.

PROGRAMME:

SATURDAY: Arrival, welcome aperitif at 6 pm, getting to know accomodation in ''kazuns'',
dinner and staying night (for your cars we have big secured parking spots).

SUNDAY: Getting to know with horses, riding in manage and on the runway inside our club.
Rest of the time you can spend by the swimming pool, playing tennis and table tennis,
bowling, playing badminton, archery competition. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are consumed
in Club rooms (terrace, by the swimming pool or on some other location).

MONDAY: After breakfast horses are prepared and we start our tour towards Učka at about 8
am. From Lupoglav (425 m) to Učka (1250 m) you can see the most beautiful parts of
Ćićarija and some villages. We will have lunch just beneath the top of Učka and after break
we go further towards edges of Učka from where you can see Kvarner bay, Opatija, Rijeka
and islands. Our trip is finished in the camp just above Mošćenička Draga. Horses are left in
stables and for riders is organized transfer to Mošćenička Draga where you can spent the rest
of a day swimming in the sea. Dinner and staying night is also in Mošćenička Draga.

TUESDAY: Breakfast, swimming, transfer to the camp and coming back on horses to
Lupoglav. Lunch will be served during the trip, dinner in our Club by the swimming pool.

WEDNESDAY: We will spend whole day in Lupoglav swimming in the pool, and if you
wish you can ride or do some other sports, or you preffer massage.

THURSDAY: After breakfast we make a trip on horses to Planik where we will also have
lunch. Coming back to camp, going to Rovinj for swimming (if wanted). Dinner will wait for
our guests until midnight. It will be served by the swimming pool where you can enjoy some
more.

FRIDAY: After breakfast we make a tour on horses towards Žbevnica to see St. Thomas
church. Lunch by the church. Break and then we go back to Lupoglav. After coming back you
can spend your time however you wish and prepare for goodbye dinner which will be served
in our Indian village.

SATURDAY: Breakfast, departure.
As you can see we provide you all sorts of sport activities so you better take your equipment
with you and join the others. If you accidentaly forget to take it you can rent it. All fields are
free, you only have to pay for the equipment and massage.

Za izbirljive jahače željne avanture te da uz to jahanjem upoznaju ljepote naše zemlje, na bilo kojoj lokaciji ( Velebit i Lika, Gorski Kotar područja uz more i.t.d.) sposobni smo organizirati jahanje, sa pratnjom-vodičem i na tim lokacijama, uz uvjet da je gost dobar jahač ili da na nekoliko dana kod nas prođe ubrzani tečaj jahanja.

U principu na takav izlet ide jedan jahač sa pratnjom, ali možemo organizirati i do max. 4 konja-jahača (vodič uključen)

Poludnevni Country day u središtu Istre za jahače ili za početnike jahače

SADRŽAJ

Dolazak u Lupoglav oko 10 sati . Aperitiv dobrodošlice, upoznavanje sa konjima i osnovnim pravilima jahanja, te jahanje u koralu na stazi u našem klubu ili po izboru po stazama na otvorenom ( 80 km.staza ). Sve to do 13 sati. Ručak uz bazen, ili na nekom drugom mjestu u našem klubu - odmor do 15 sati –odlazak.

Cijena ,u kojoj je obračunato: aperitiv, ručaka sa sokom, cca 2 sata jahanja sa vodičem – učiteljem, korištenje sportskih terena i osvježavajućim pićem na jahaćoj stazi iznosi kn/osoba.

Napomena :

Ovaj program i cijena rađeni su na bazi 1o-ak osoba.Svi jašu zajedno početnici i dobri jahači, budući da postoje mjesta na stazama gdje se dobri jahači mogu nauživati u kasu ili galopu, za vrijeme dok se ovi drugi još uče.

Po istom programu druga grupa (ako je ima) može startati u 15 sati, a završava u 20 sati.

Country days in the middle of Istria for horseback riders and horseback ride begginers

CONTENT:

Arrival to Lupoglav at 9 am. Welcome aperitif, meeting the horses and basic rules of
horseback riding, including horseback riding in coral until 11 am, with appropriate equipment
that each rider has to carry with himself.

Lunch in our restaurant including break until 2 pm.
Trip to agrotourist place nearby – arrival at about 6 pm.
Getting horse to stable, having bath and preparing for dinner that is served at 8 pm.
Next day after breakfast – coming back to Lupoglav, using other riding path. Lunch is
scheduled during trip and dinner in Lupoglav, after getting horse back to stable, having a bath
etc.
Price = 1180,00 kn / person – includes: aperitif, lunches, dinners, spending nights,
instructor and tourist guide.

ALTERNATIVE

CONTENT:

Content is same with difference of going to Planik and Učka, having dinner and sleeping in
the shelter (all equipment and groceries riders carry with themselves).

NOTE: Horse riding can be extended for few extra days if group wants it. (Calculation is
based on 4-5 riders.)

Horseback riding school in nature for children – summer camp

Camp will be held during July, starting the first Saturday in month; 4 weeks – one group each
week.

There will be maximum 12 boys and girls in each group. They will be situated in Indian
village, in tents (wigwamis). They must respect house rules or else they will be asked to leave
camp.

PROGRAMME:

SATURDAY: Arrival at 10 am, accomodation in tents, getting to know the camp and nature.
Lunch and free activities until dinner. Dinner at 8 pm, followed by hanging out in rooms,
watching TV, or chatting and singing by the fire.

SUNDAY: Waking up at 8 am, morning gymnastic, breakfast at 9 am. A little snack at 11 am.
Horseback riding school until 3 pm, lunch after that. Free time by the swimming pool until
dinner at 8 pm. After dinner socializing, just like the day before.

MONDAY: All the same, only schedule from 9 am until 3 pm, and from 4 pm until 8 pm is
different for each following day. Horseback riding school from 9 am till 3 pm, games by the
swimming pool and lecture about drugs and campaigne against drug addiction (lecturer: dr.sc.
Predrag Jovanović) from 4 pm till 8 pm.

TUESDAY: From 9 am till 3 pm – hiking tour on Korita (consuming breakfast at the finish
line). From 4 pm till 8 pm – break by the swimming pool, archery competition.

WEDNESDAY: From 9 am till 3 pm – horseback riding lessons. From 4 pm till 8 pm –
bowling and swimming competitions.

THURSDAY: From 9 am till 3 pm – horseback riding lessons. From 4 pm till 8 pm – tennis
and table tennis competitions.

FRIDAY: From 9 am till 3 pm – tour to Ćićarija on horses in 2 groups. From 4 pm till 9 pm –
horseback ridding exam, followed by goodbye dinner party.

SATURDAY: Waking up at 7 am, cleaning tents and nature, breakfast at 9 am, departure at
10 am.

Horseback riding school programme:

SUNDAY: Introducing the stable, cleaning and leading horses; theory.

MONDAY: Cleaning the stable, horses and equipment; theory of riding in manage.

TUESDAY: Cleaning the stable and horses, putting the equipment on horse, riding and
gymnastic in manage.

WEDNESDAY: Cleaning the stable, horses, putting the equipment on horse; techniques of
riding on runway.

FRIDAY: Cleaning the stable, horses, putting the equipment on horse and outdoors riding.

Days of wild asparagus

INTRODUCTION:

Depending on the weather, this package tour is organized at the end of
the week during March, April and May. If you are interested in the tour, please register by
sending a short note until the end of February or just before beggining of tour, if available
room.

PROGRAMME:

Arrival on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning – departure on Sunday afternoon or evening.
Accomodation is planed in our ''kazuns''. If desired, accommodation is possible in the ''Grand
Hotel Adriatic'' Opatija.

SATURDAY: Following breakfast, at 10 am sharp, all participants, adequately dressed, go
with their personal cars or bus (organized groups) to the location. A guide is provided for the
tour. Lunch is served in the open.

The return is scheduled for 4 pm. Asparagus gathered are weighed, cleaned, washed, and
made ready for preservation. After that each participant is able to refresh, take a shower, and
use our sports facilities (tennis and table tennis courts, bows and arrows, swimming pool,
bowling, bicycles, riding in the horse coral, tracks or open country).
Dinner is served at 7 PM comprising the following menu:

* Asparagus soup
* Asparagus and prosciutto frittata
* Asparagus pasticcio in prosciutto sauce
* "Leader" escalope in asparagus sauce
* Plain flour fritters with coffee

As part of the evening program, the best asparagus gatherers will be awarded medals. Each
participant is free to take along 20% of the asparagus gathered.
Our well-known maestro Dorijano and his accordion are in charge of the atmosphere. You are
welcome to join the singing.

SUNDAY: Breakfast, upon which follows the sports part of the day activities according to the
Saturday program. Lunch, departure.

PRICES: Kažun accommodation = 90,00 kn (1/3,4); 140,00 kn (1/2); 160,00 kn (1/1) per person.
Accommodation in "Grand Hotel Adriatic" Opatija = 480,00 kn / person

SATURDAY: All-day package (breakfast, tourist guide, lunch, festive dinner party, prize fund) = 250,00 kn /

NOTE: This programme can be organized as half-day arrangment, emphasizing that our each
group is registered; as organizers we have right to stay with group in the area of nature park
Učka for which we have consession.

Mushroom days

INTRODUCTION:

Depending on the weather, this package tour is organized in April,
May and other mushroom favorable seasons. If you are interested in the tour, please register
by sending a short note on the date of preferred attendance by the end of February. In case of
any vacant accommodations left, registration is possible just before the start of the tour as
well.

PROGRAMME:

Arrival on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. Departure on Sunday afternoon or evening.
Accomodation is planed in our ''kazuns''. If desired, accommodation is possible in the ''Grand
Hotel Adriatic'' Opatija.

SATURDAY: Following breakfast, at 10 am sharp, all participants, adequately dressed, go
mushrooming. A car or bus (organized groups) drive is required to the location. A guide is
provided for the tour. Lunch is served in the open.

''Tartuffeing'' in Istria

This project can be modulated but for now we offer you this
programme.

Arrival to Lupoglav at about 3 pm, welcome aperitif and departure
with our guide to terrain (cca. 15 km far away, sometimes to the area of nature park Učka).
Our ''tartuffer'' with dogs and equipment will wait for us there at 4 pm. We have a conssesion
for nature park Učka so you will have no disturbances.

From 4 pm till 6 pm you will spend your time in the area of white and black tartuffe. You will
have something for a snack with you (prosciutto, cheese, bread under oven, some wine and
home made ''rakija''). You only have to take care to be adequately dressed (appropriate shoes,
pants and raincoat if possible). We ask each guest not to discover location where tartuffes are.
At 6 pm we will move towards our restaurant where dinner will wait for us at about 6 pm.
During dinner everybody will have an opportunity to choose and buy (if wanted) few sorts of
home made ''rakija'' and tartuffe ready for usage.

Price = 65,00 kn / person (minimum 20 persons); includes: tour, taxes for nature park Učka,
tourist guide, ''tartuffer'' and snacks

If somebody would like a dinner we suggest something frome our traditional kitchen with
stress on its royal majesty tartuffe, so here is our menu:

* ''maneštra'' with asparagus
* tris of home made pasta (''fuži'', gnocchi and raviolli in prosciutto, mushroom and tartufee
sauces)
* ramsteak and ''rigica'' on cinder in coat of vegetables sprayed with tartuffe sauce and crusts
with potatoe halfs
* dessert – fried pancakes in tartuffe sato
* home made warm bread under oven

Price = 160,00 kn / person

If wanted on ''tartuffeing'' during dinner you can be entertained by our all mighty accordion
player (price = 20,00 kn / person).

One-day stay at the ''Country Club''

Arrival in the morning (by bus, train or car).

Guided tour of the location comprising a theme park with an Indian
village, stables with two corals and manege, small houses with various animals (ducks,
Californian fowl, Indian fowl, peacocks, layers, goldfish in several aquariums, rabbits, dogs,
donkeys), sports facilities (horse riding and racing tracks l = 450 meters), tennis, table tennis,
swimming pool, Olympic lanes bowling alley, archery facilities, and air gun shooting gallery.
"Country Club" entrance free; rent of equipment or sports grounds = 10,00 – 20,00 kn; group
horseback riding = 20,00 kn / person.

Upon finishing the guided tour of the location and making yourself comfortable in the rooms,
it is time to have a snack. It is served at 10.30 am at the saloon near the manege, and includes
a mini pizza and ice tea at the cost of 15,00 kn.

A plan of sports activities is possible on the spot until 3.00 am when lunch is served at the
saloon near the manege. Lunch includes beefsteak, side dish and ice tea at the cost of 25,00 kn.

Departure at 4 pm.

NOTE: Each group should choose and let us now before whether it will use complete
programme, part of the programme or should we arrange some other programme for them.
Our staff members will be available to you upon your arrival, showing you and being your
guide and mentor in everything you possibly need. It is up to you to make use of our staff
members, to listen to their advices, and behave in keeping with local customs.

Booking is required several days in advance. Please specify the menus and participants’
number.

Nature park Učka sightseeing

The rocks building mountain Učka were formed 140 million years ago,
crashing African and European tecton boards. In following processes
that rocks became limestone, and later they formed flysch. Significant geological spots
nowadays are certainly: monument of nature Vela Draga and Krvava stijena in the southwest
part of Učka, and rock under Brest on Ćićarija. Učka also has about 200 speleologycal
objects, and in the underworld there are some endemic species. Učka is a fresh water reservoir
because of combination of resintent and non resistent stones, so there are lot of wellsprings
that make Učka a tank for Liburnian area.

That part of nature park sightseeing tour starts from Istria side of tunnel, or on Poklon if
groups come from Rijeka side and it lasts for 2 hours.

That was an introduction in the part of our tour that includes sightseeing of
Geomorphologycal monument of nature Vela Draga. It was preserved like this few decades
ago and it's famous for its limestone columns and rocks with fossil and shell remains. We can
find members of ornitofauna here, arceological findings from cave Pupićina and various flora.
It is one of the most beautiful locations in Croatia for free-climbing adventurers.

Accept Vela Draga we will also visit Vojak, the highest to of Učka. On our way we will pass
through few different altitude areas of vegetation (forrests of oak medunac and white
hornbeam, chestnut, black hornbeam and beech). The highest parts of Učka are real floristic
bait because there are alpine, submeditarrenian and meditarrenian species one lying to
another. On the cliff of Učka we can find stenoendem ''učkarski zvončić''. Rocky places are
rich with variety of birds, lizzards and snakes. Učka's meadows represent monument of
biovariety of living world. Učka is also a home of forrest vole, wild pig and roe; wet places
inhabit insects and amphibians like for example spotty newt. This tour also asks for 2 hours.
On the top of Učka we will serve a little snack that includes warm bread under oven, meat
slices, wine, mineral water and ''rakija''. You can also buy souvenirs and the map of this
nature park. Schedule will be reversed if we start from Poklon.

Price = 100,00 kn / person; includes: snacks, drinks, tourist guide and taxes for visiting nature
park.

There are lot of caves, viewpoints on Učka, and accept that it is worth seeing old town
Zagrad, canynon of Mošćenićka Draga, Brajkov vrh (Korita) and Veli Planik. You should
personally contact us for taking this tours so we can define way of travelling, routes and
duration of the visit.

You should make bookings at least few days earlier with exact number of visitors so we can
organize and register your tour to board of nature park.

KOBILARNA I JAHAČKI CENTAR

U obilazak se može ići svaki dan uz:

A) Ulaznicu za razgled konja i štale

(svaki dan od 09-14 sati zimi ili od 09-20 sati ljeti)

CIJENA = 5.00 kn /os-grupe više od 5 osoba = 2 kn /os.

B) Ulaznicu za prisustvu treningu konja

(svaki dan od 14-16 sati zimi ili od 18-20 sati ljeti)

CIJENA= 10.00 kn /os-grupe više od 5 osoba = 5 kn /os.

C) Ulaznica za jahanje podrazumijeva u isto vrijeme

i slobodan ulaz za jahača(e) i pratnju.

D) Psima je ulazak u kobilarnu dozvoljen

samo na vezici i sa brnjicom. Skakanje, galama,

igranje loptom, gađanje kamenjem, čupanje trave i

ostalog te kretanje van puteva je zabranjeno kao i

hranjenje, diranje ili plašenje životinja.

F) Gostima restorana ili kažuna dozvoljen je ulaz,

šetnja, zadržavanje, odmor i rekreacija, a

račun konzumacije služi kao ulaznica.

G) Jahačima i gostima kobilarne stoji na raspolaganju

besplatni parking, kod sjevernog ulaza u kobilarnu,

kao i tuš sa WC-om kod bazena.
